The “traditional” understanding of AI is primarily restricted to automation and reduction of human effort. However, the ‘intelligence’ in ‘artificial intelligence’ stands for much more. AI can drive, not just productivity, but also human creativity in more ways than one. On a rudimentary level, it gives teams more time to think out of the box and be creative. On a deeper level, with constant learning and insights, it catalyzes creative processes and augments collaboration.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not a new technology. It has been around for decades and has been improving and innovating as it goes. Over the years, there have been different types of AI systems developed to help with solving complex problems. AI systems often work in tandem with human beings to solve problems in a more efficient way. Today, AI can be seen in many industries, including product data management (PDM). The pros of using these systems include increased speed and accuracy when processing information. They are also able to gather data from a variety of sources with ease and sift.
